Position Title: Minister/Director to Students (Part-Time)

Reports To: Senior Pastor

Date Prepared: April 2022

Principle Function

The Minister/Director to Students will responsible for planning, conducting and evaluating a comprehensive ministry for all students, 6th-12th Grade.

I. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITES

1. Under the direction of the Senior Pastor, and in keeping with the policies of Shiloh Baptist Church, plan, develop, and implement a variety of discipleship opportunities to challenge the students to become fully devoted followers of Christ. This will include the approval of curriculum, enlistment and training of leaders, management of space, and approval of other resources used.

2. Work with the Nominating Committee in selection, enlistment, and training of workers for all student ministry areas.

3. Plan and coordinate trips, camps, and retreats for students.
4. Plan and provide periodic social activities for students.
5. Coordinate with and support the Worship and Mission ministries to offer opportunities for students in these ministry areas.
6. In consultation with the Stewardship Committee, give advice and direction for the church annual budget as it pertains to the Student
Ministry.

7. When appropriate, engage in connecting with students on and off campus for the purpose of evangelism and mentoring.

8. Specific hours per week will be discussed and agreed upon during the interview process.

9. Continue to learn and stay up to date in all aspects of Student
Ministry.

II. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITES

1. Demonstrate a spirit of cooperation with all church leadership in promoting the entire ministry plan of Shiloh Baptist Church
2. Be available to provide spiritual, biblical guidance to church members and non-members as needs arise.
3. Utilize the services of the church secretary, which are consistent with their position description.
4. Give full support of the General Budget of Shiloh Baptist Church and avoid soliciting or expending funds not previously authorized.
5. Serve as an effective staff liaison to assigned Ministry Teams and or standing committees.
6. Upon the church vote of affirmation for this position, be willing to join as a member of Shiloh Baptist Church.

III. BASIC PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITES

1. Maintain a vital and growing personal walk with the Lord through committed Bible study, prayer, and meditation
2. Maintain proper priorities in your home and with your family.
3. Develop personal evangelism opportunities within and outside the church.
4. Financially support the ministries of Shiloh Baptist Church by faithfully giving at least 10% of your gross income. Maintain wise stewardship measures over the remaining 90%.

5. Assist in other duties and assignments as required.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $10,400.00 per year
