Are you hoping to make a difference in the life of a child? We are looking to grow our talented team of mental health workers with Full-Time and Relief Residential Counselors. The DBT House is a residential treatment program that has been recognized for positive outcomes in the lives of teenage girls over the last 15 years. Located in beautiful southern Vermont, the DBT House serves youth and their families by providing a safe and supportive environment for clients to learn and develop personal and life skills.

Full Time Residential Counselors- Responsibilities for our staff include: supervising our clients; providing ongoing support, guidance, and role-modeling; and facilitating client improvement in the areas of personal responsibility, social skills, community living skills, and behavior. Candidates must have either a Bachelor’s degree, or two years of experience working with children with emotional/behavioral challenges. Additionally, candidates must be able to communicate effectively, and have a valid driver’s license & reliable transportation. ​Background check required. Pay range $19-$20 an hour; evening shift position available. We offer a generous benefits package, including tuition reimbursement.

Relief Residential Counselors- Responsibilities include supervising the daily activities of our clients; providing ongoing support, guidance, and role modeling; and facilitating client improvement in the areas of personal responsibility, social skills, community living skills, and behavior. Candidates must be able to communicate effectively, to work flexible hours, and have a valid driver’s license & reliable transportation. Bachelor’s degree and previous experience working with children with emotional/behavioral challenges preferred. Pay range $19-$20 an hour.
