Job description
The North Providence School Department is seeking to hire Yard Monitors to work in the District on a daily basis. Positions are located at Centredale Elementary School, McGuire Elementary School, Stephen Olney Elementary School and Whelan Elementary School. Yard Monitors will work a total of 1 hour per day (1/2 hour in the morning, 8:40 a.m. to 9:10 am; and a 1/2 hour in the afternoon, 3:15 pm to 3:45 pm) to oversee the safety of students before and after school.This is a great opportunity for parents and/or grandparents who have a strong desire to help our schools maintain a safe school culture!You must have a sincere and warm approach with students, parents, and staff and be able to quickly assess any issues that can be addressed safely by you; or call for assistance if needed.
