X-Ray Technologist

New York Imaging (NYI) provides a comprehensive range of cutting-edge diagnostic imaging services from state-of-the-art modalities at various institutions. Our patient-oriented imaging center promotes a positive experience. We are conveniently located throughout Long Island: in Lake Success and Port Jefferson Station, with affiliated locations in Riverhead, Setauket, and Southampton and now Rockville Center.

New York Imaging is currently seeking an X-Ray Technologist to join a well-established and growing pure sub-specialty practice with academic affiliation. Practice manages a freestanding outpatient 7-day per week Cancer Center with extensive chemotherapy administration, Radiation Oncology, Pharmacy and Research department.

In this role, you will:

• Operate X-Ray equipment.
• Prepare patients for X-Ray procedures by explaining the process and positioning patients to correctly capture the images requested by a Physician.

We require:

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• At least 1 year of experience in the field of radiology preferred.
• NYS Department of Health licensure as a Radiologic Technologist with certification in IV contrast administration.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Registered (Technologist (R.T.), preferred.)
• Excellent computer knowledge, MS Office Word/Excel.
• Great written and verbal communication skills.

Salary up to $35 per hour.
