Workshop Content Coordinator Duties and Responsibilities
Workshop Content Coordinators are responsible for researching, writing and developing workshop content and exercises on a particular subject. They will train and educate facilitators on the content they write, along with, debrief and edit trainer notes after a workshop takes place. Other duties and responsibilities include:
- Being well versed in psychology, child development and Attachment Theory, Emotional Intelligence, and all things personal growth(!)
- Identifying gaps in existing workshop content and revising/revamping accordingly
- Staying up to date on personal growth trends to support content development
- Managing and completing work on time for multiple workshop writing projects
- Distilling complex concepts and language into content that is easily understood
- Collaborate with other workshop writers and training staff to create content
- Designing trainer notes for half-day, full-day and multi-day corporate training workshops
- Designing trainer notes for online webinars, 2-day, 3-day, 5-day, 10-day+, and Year Long (monthly meetings on 1 topic) courses for our Open Enrollment division
- Incorporating experiential exercises and games into the trainer notes for both Corporate Training and Open Enrollment Workshops that elicit emotions and mental constructs for processing. This includes conceiving and working with the team on any supplemental handouts, diagrams, models and equipment for the training
- Coordinate with our Brand and Marketing Manager and Sales Team to help them understand how to market and sell into these workshops
- Attend regular meetings with team to talk through workshop content and trainer notes
