Job Title: WorkDay Learning Consultant

Location: Batavia, IL (Onsite)

Duration: Long Term

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs):

· Create scaleable, automated solutions for our customer base

· Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering or Information Technology

· Team player attitude with a willingness to lead when necessary

· Devotion to continuing education on an annual basis

· DDI certification in Interaction Management EXL level courses (required)

· Strong VLT (virtual-live training), and in-person facilitation skills (required)

· Strong Coaching skills (required)

· In depth knowledge of leadership best practices and principles

· Adept with technology such as Zoom, and Microsoft Teams

· Expert skills in course exercise execution, including but not limited to peer learning, breakout rooms, annotations, and whiteboards.

· Makes room for learners to share their experiences, reflections, and challenges in a way that enhances learning

· Keeps the focus on learners while appropriately sharing personal stories,
including relevant pitfalls, to build trust.

· Uses a variety of techniques (for example, humour, energy, and enthusiasm for content/concepts) to gain and hold the audience’s attention

· Modifies own behaviour to handle challenging classroom situations to maintain a safe learning environment

· Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills

· Demonstrated ability to develop positive working relationships supporting collaborative work within Human Resources and across the firm

· Uses effective training methods to ensure employees have a good understanding of competencies and can demonstrate the proper knowledge, skills, and abilities

· Capable of developing participant and instructor materials (course manuals, workbooks, handouts, job aids, etc)

· Management Approach:
Ability to identify preparation needed for current WorkDay system to effectively integrate and function with installed WorkDay Learning software. Build business processes, reports, analytics, and document processes based on organizational needs, work with Talent Development, WorkDay deployment partner, IT, and Human Capital Management (HCM) system during and after software implementation. Previous consulting experience with a Workday deployment partner preferred. Ability to consult with HR and external business stakeholders on technology issues, business requirements, user adoption, and subject matter expertise in HR practices and functions.

· Technical Approach:
Must be well versed in WorkDay Learning key features, experience implementing Workday Learning business process configurations for customers of all sizes(required), establish business processes to access and assign training based on, e.g., job description, position, location, and/or tags
Current Workday Reporting Certification (preferred), demonstrated experience in advising the client in business process design, offering options, risks, and downstream impacts related to decisions.
- Demonstrated guidance and document the process of effectively translating complex business, system or non-functional requirements into clear, concise, traceable functional requirements and documenting them in a comprehensive repository within the business requirements document/functional specification document/manual, e.g. documenting requirements, mapping processes, gathering system data.
- Demonstrated ability to lead migration and conversion effort of legacy data into Workday Learning by scoping conversion requirements, executing data transformation activities, and supporting end user validation activities from existing legacy system to new system, and converting data into format required for integration.

· Prior Experience in the Field
Minimum 5-7 years of demonstrated subject matter expertise in WorkDay Learning consulting, business process development and documentation, implementation, integration and migration experience.

· Evaluated Cost/Price
Provide WorkDay Learning consulting services for a fixed price over 3 years.

· Establish multi-platform versions of the software package

· Write tests for existing and created code to ensure compatibility and stability

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
