Job Summary:
We are seeking an Application Support Specialist to join our team. The primary responsibility of this position is to provide technical support to our dealer partners in the planning, delivery, and support of business processes and practices for strategic business units. The successful candidate will have experience in troubleshooting technical and business process related issues and identifying recurring or repetitive issues to drive issues to resolution. This position is of low complexity and low risk and has limited interaction with business contacts.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to dealer partners in the planning, delivery, and support of business processes and practices for strategic business units.
- Participate in the design, development, testing, and integration of technology of low complexity.
- Implement information technology and business processes of low complexity.
- Support, evaluate, and continuously improve information technology and business processes to maintain alignment with business plans of low complexity/risk.
- Perform activities according to project plans and schedule.
- Have contact primarily focused around department and functional operations, and limited interaction with business contacts.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience.
- At least 1 year of technical knowledge related to computer technology, application development, database administration, data management, and/or infrastructure with capabilities to understand and resolve technical impediments.
- At least 1 year of experience working in a service desk or customer call center environment, with a strong focus on exceptional customer service/customer experience.
- Experience with retail business processes, such as, parts and inventory management, product service or repair, sales, rental, and/or accounting practices.
- Skilled in interpersonal communications, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
- Proven experience working in a team environment within minimal supervision; team-oriented.
- Eager to develop their talents and skills, as well as helping others build their knowledge and skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working within a John Deere dealership.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum team environment.
- Experience leveraging ITIL, LSM, and/or DevOps principles and methodology.
- Experience working with Microsoft technology stack, specifically MS Dynamics 365.
- Understanding of various security frameworks and fundamentals, including Active Directory, MFA, etc.
- Proven understanding of .NET and/or JAVA programming fundamentals.
- Proven understanding of SQL database fundamentals.
- Proven understanding of API development fundamentals.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
