Job description
Develops, organizes, and manages Web sites.
Essential Functions
Develops and maintains web page content for departmental and college level web sites.
Administers, maintains, and oversees the design and development of web sites, ensures continuity among directly related web sites; refreshes Web site content to ensure accuracy and timeliness of information and images; integrates new technologies into Web site.
Adapts conventional information resources to Internet purposes, using web applicable language skills such as HTML, XML, CSS, JavaScript, and other tools for enhancing web site functionality.
Monitors web site usage statistics, and develops reports for performance assessment.
Works closely with College communications team to coordinate messaging and design. Assists communications team with additional graphic design projects as needed.
Works with staff to create online forms, workflows and lists using Office365 applications to support College business processes.
Works closely with College IT team to assist with other IT services as needed.
Ensures compliance with applicable policies on web site usage, security, and standards.
Knowledge of all Microsoft Office365 software and able to learn and use institutional software systems.
Complies with all State and University policies.
Other duties may be assigned.

Required Qualifications

Working knowledge of web coding including HTML, CSS and Javascript.
Working knowledge of graphics design programs such as Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator.
Ability to design and create web graphics for sites.
Ability to communicate effectively in writing.
Ability to troubleshoot computer hardware and software.
Minimum Education required: Bachelor’s degree from four year college or university within area of assigned responsibility.
Minimum Experience required: Two years related experience to the statement of duties and responsibilities; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
