Aqueduct Technologies is seeking a Web Development Lead for our customer based in the New England area. This role is remote, and candidate can be located anywhere on the East Coast.
This role will lead the DevOps team create beautiful, functional, and secure websites using a combination of graphic design skills along with technical computer skills. This position will collaborate with and oversee other developers to ensure development and structure of our websites and other projects uses consistent coding methods.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Supervise a team of 4-6 Web developers.
- Developing and supporting projects from conception to implementation.
- Ensure projects are delivered on strategy, on time, and within budget
- Lead and define web development best practices, coding standards and workflow processes
- Lead integration strategy of the solution with various client and third-party systems
- Mentor other team members on relevant technologies and keep agency up to date on latest digital trends
- Regular exposure to business stakeholders and executive management, as well as the authority and scope to apply your expertise to many interesting technical problems.
- Collaborate with team members from start to finish on website development projects.
- Coordinate with various departments across the organization as needed.
- Maintain websites and create updates regularly to address company, customer, and security concerns.
- Troubleshoot code quickly and efficiently.
- Actively participate in brainstorming sessions with team members.
- Willingness to seek ways to improve existing websites and processes for the betterment of our company and customers.

Job Qualifications: *
- 5-8 years of high-level web development and implementation experience.
- Experience leading a team.
- BS in Web development or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience working with and collaborating using development tools such as Gitea, Jira
- Strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards.
- Experience working in Google Cloud Platform is a plus
- Elixir production experience with Phoenix, GraphQL, REST APIs
- Experience working with front ends written with react.js using GraphQL
- Hands-on experience with Web Applications and programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery and API’s.
- Hands-on design experience with Web Services (REST, SOAP, etc.) is needed to be successful in this position.
- Strong grasp of security principles and how they apply to E-Commerce applications.
