Summary of the role:

The Web Developer serves as the primary contact for all aspects of the organizations website(s), handling a range of responsibilities that may include web design and development, routine site and content maintenance, and various updates to ensure sites align with the goals and objectives of the company. This role provides expertise in U/X design and effectively grow our online presence to engage customers. The duties include working closely IT, fixing website errors, and creating a response plan for down servers and running tests to make sure designs or updates function properly.

What you can expect to be responsible for:

• Serving as the primary contact for all aspects of the organizations website(s)
• Encouraging and facilitating consistent, creative, and unified web design across the organization's web properties
• Collects and analyzes web analytics and similar data; identifies opportunities to improve search engine optimization (SEO), time on site, web traffic, and other relevant metrics
• Providing updates, reports, and manages the ADA compliance of website
• Maintaining and documents ownership of company's internet domains
• Maintaining CMS user and content guides for the creation of new site pages
• Training other team members on use of CMS for back-up situations
• Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards; software licenses; and applicable state and federal laws and regulations including data security, privacy, and intellectual property laws
• Maintaining current knowledge of best practices and emerging developments in web design, web development, and technology
• Testing websites across browsers, operating systems, and devices
• Improving our internal frameworks to drive consistency across multilingual sites
• Maintaining, configuring, and troubleshooting hosting and CMS for all web properties
• Optimizing loading speed and capacity
• Implementing and maintaining redirects
• Debuging pages and fix broken links or images
• Updating website content and review SEO
• Monitoring and analyzing site performance (e.g., traffic, conversions)
• Addressing user complaints to product pages and website hiccups

• Developing and maintaining internet and intranet portals, forms, and structures in accordance with the organization's needs
• Collaborating closely with other team members across creative, PR, marketing, sales, and others to ensure consistency of approach and alignment of brand and creative strategy and execution.

Requirements

What we are seeking and hoping you have:

• 5-7 years of web developer or U/X website management experience
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field preferred; coursework in digital media,
  web design, and/or computer programming highly preferred
• Extensive knowledge of website management, analytics, design, and SEO best practices
  and standards
• Extensive experience working with WordPress
• Working knowledge of or ability to quickly learn web content management systems, applications, and tools used by the organization
• Highly proficient with CSS, HTML, JavaScript, PHP, Rest API, and UI/UX design fundamentals
• Ability to work within a fast-paced deadline driven environment, and shift priorities per
  business needs
• Experience with SEO tools is a plus but not necessary
• Experience with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and working knowledge of
  Google Data Studio
• Experience with UX/UI design and some knowledge of Adobe suite (photoshop, illustrator)
• Experience using Scrum software (Asana)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
