Broadridge Financial Solutions, a leading global Fintech leader, is seeking a Web Analytics Manager. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a strong aptitude for analytics that has a balance of technical and business reporting acumen. This role will support the rapid growth and evolution of our marketing data & analytics platform and will report to senior director, digital marketing analytics on the data operations and analytics team.
The Manager, Web Analytics will work with and consult the web experience team to define and implement web tracking requirements, create reports & dashboards, and provide ongoing analysis, insights, and recommendations for improvement. This role will work collaboratively with our key stakeholders and business partners, such as analytics, digital, enterprise, segment, and regional marketing, as well as other corporate partners. The individual should have the ability to provide insights and recommendations based on analysis and trending of omni-channel web data. The individual must possess leadership skills and be able to work autonomously and effectively in a dynamic and changing work environment. Communication and prioritization skill are a must, as is the ability to present information, strategy, and recommendations clearly and succinctly to management.
To succeed in this role, the web analytics manger is expected to demonstrate strategic thinking, logical reasoning, strong communication and presentation skills, outstanding analytic skills, and the ability to resolve complex issues.
This is a remote role where you will work off-site. Travel is limited and generally used for team learning and collaboration meetings. The office is in NYC. We are looking for candidates located on the East Coast
Responsibilities:
Technical Requirements
  • Lead our development team to implement, manage, and maintain Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, and other digital marketing platforms
  • Creating and maintaining detailed documentation of analytics events, variables, segments, etc.
  • Identifying gaps in the data capture strategy and collaboratively implementing enhancements
  • Working across teams to design custom segments based on historical qualitative and quantitative data that can be used to enhance our reporting
  • Collaborating with team members preparing data sets
  • Collaborating with technical analytics analyst, web production, web development and marketing teams to implement required tracking and tagging
Data Governance
  • Creating and maintaining detailed documentation of web analytics processes, reporting updates, user guides, naming conventions, etc.
  • Creating and monitoring KPI alerts and flagging sudden changes in web traffic or engagement
  • Utilizing warehousing, ETL and visualization tools, such as Google Data Studio, PowerBI to build and maintain efficient and scalable processes
  • Leading the definition and sharing of best practice approaches for analyzing online user behavior
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to understand and document requirements for ongoing and adhoc reporting
  • Researching anomalies and/or bugs reported by report users
Reporting and Analysis
  • Leading internal stakeholders through the analysis of website traffic and user behavior
  • Analyzing content performance metrics, impacts of search engine optimization initiatives, and effectiveness of social media outlets
  • Developing intuitive, scalable dashboards, reports, and analyses to track website performance and aid in planning and decision-making
  • Analyzing complex data sets and transform raw data into actionable insights that ensure marketing efforts are effectively driving awareness, conversion, growth, and revenue
  • Working with the analytics team to create data visualizations and presentations to provide actionable and compelling insights to stakeholders that are easy to understand and have demonstrable results
Qualifications
  • Passion for data, bringing actionable insights to life and activating stakeholders
  • 5+ years reporting, data mining and analysis with enterprise web analytics platforms and tagging
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or other related fields with emphasis in marketing measurement; or equivalent experience in an analytical or technical field
  • Ability to communicate complex findings in a structured and clear manner to a non-technical audience, and operate in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment
  • Professional Certification in Web Analytics highly desirable
  • 4+ years’ experience with digital marketing data sources and tools, including Google Analytics, Data Studio, Tag Manager, Search Console and BigQuery
  • Advanced Excel Power User and strong proficiency in PowerPoint
  • Experience in pathing analysis, user behavior, waterfall/fallout analysis and site testing
  • Experience in business intelligence and data visualization software such as Power BI (custom metrics, dimensions, ad-hoc views, charts, complex dashboards)
  • Applied knowledge of analytics for A/B and multivariate testing
