IPT is looking for great talented people to support the work at the Army Aviation and Missile Center (AvMC). AvMC is the Army’s focal point for providing research, development and engineering technology and services for aviation and missile platforms across the life cycle. AvMC’s mission is to “deliver collaborative and innovative aviation and missile capabilities for responsive and cost-effective research, development, and lifecycle engineering solutions” to equip the Warfighter with the best technology today and tomorrow.
Responsibilities:
- Implement, manage, and sustain web site & application creation, certificate management, application pool monitoring, web server and web site monitoring, and security configuration for the AvMC Enterprise via IIS administration
- Provide support for AvMC web servers and hosted applications/identify and document end user requirements for hosting web-based applications
- Establish and maintain a working environment for hosting web-based applications that meets approved requirements
- Maintain Internet Information Services (IIS) configuration management, and coordinate to ensure IIS patches and updates are routinely applied when made available for download by Microsoft
- Produce and maintain DISA STIG documentation/ensure IIS STIGs are applied and remain current
- Provide hardware and software support for database administration and maintenance for hosted database applications
- Provide support for users, software developers, and database-driven web-enabled software applications to ensure availability, security, and integrity of data access
- Identify and resolve interoperability issues to maintain the application environment
- Provide system level support of hosted web applications, file systems, and restricted shell access menus
- Maintain documentation of application and web site performance including tracking, compiling, and analyzing web site usage data/ make recommendations and requirements for changes to improve performance
- Document the AvMC Standard Operating Procedures as it pertains to management of Internet Information Services, produce and maintain DISA STIG documentation, and will ensure IIS STIGS are applied and remain current
Requirements:
- MS/MA in related field
- 15 years of related work experience
- DoD 8570 Level II/III certification
- DoD Secret clearance
