Tesla Distribution Operation is looking for a Warehouse Supervisor. The supervisor will oversee and manage daily operations at a forward stock location. The ideal candidate should have experience organizing work groups, coaching employees, monitoring progress, enforcing rules and ensuring quality compliance. The supervisor will follow through operational tasks and goals, big and small, with a sense of urgency and attention to detail.

• Ensure, enhance and enforce employee safety.
• Manage a Team of up to 15 Warehouse Associates.
• Foster and develop a strong Team of material handling personnel through selective recruitment, thorough and consistent on-boarding process, training, and coaching.
• Meet inbound and outbound operational goals, track and report KPIs.
• Ensure successful end of shift: completed prioritized work, organized equipment, secured facility, pass down communication.
• Develop and implement 5S/visual management standards for a distribution center.
• Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Perform insightful and detailed bi-annual employee performance reviews.
• Escalate issues inhibiting the team from obtaining goals and business objectives.
• Purchase and track warehouse supplies and equipment.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with peers, internal and external partners and vendors.

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain and/or distribution and logistics. Minimum of 3 years in a Supervisory/Management role.
• Strong knowledge of warehousing and inventory control within a distribution center with the ability to teach and coach others on best practices.
• Proven ability to lead others through influence and direct authority.
• Experience working with computers and warehouse management systems.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel is desired.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
• Ability to plan, organize and manage multiple projects with competing demands and deadlines.
• Ability to maintain trustworthy business relationships and be a peacemaker in conflicts.
• Ability to negotiate effectively and reach agreements with internal and external stakeholders.
