WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR (NON-EXEMPT)

We are looking to hire a Warehouse Supervisor for our 500,000+ square foot distribution center. This role will support outbound operations, with supervisory responsibilities for the order fulfillment team. This position may be required to various multiple shifts with overtime during the week and on weekends, as required.

The ideal candidate should have previous leadership experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment, to drive and implement change and to ensure order fulfillment accuracy and timeliness.

This position is located in Memphis, TN and will report to the Operations Manager or Warehouse Manager.

DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Hands-on leader, providing solid leadership and effective conflict resolution
• Assigns work and directs the day-to-day activities of employees engaged in the distribution of company products
• Leads and develops an effective team including Franklin full-time employees and temporary associates
• Meets or exceeds assigned productivity goals in support of exceeding customer expectations
• Manages assigned employees to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures
• Promotes and maintains a safe and productive work environment for all employees
• Trains new members of assigned team in work procedures, methods, and practices
• Interfaces and coordinates with supervisors and employees in other departments to guarantee an uninterrupted workflow
• Promotes an environment of continuous improvement that ensures a high level of quality is maintained in all daily operations resulting in superior service levels to all customers
• Must be willing and able to work overtime hours, as assigned
• Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required
• Minimum of three to five years of leadership experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment
• Previous Forklift experience and certification preferred

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Strong interpersonal, problem solving, and communication skills
• Ability to lead and motivate others
• Understanding of OSHA and safety requirements
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
• Possesses basic math skills

Level of Responsibility:

Provides day-to-day oversight of warehouse associates engaged in order fulfillment processes resulting in the distribution of products to customers

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position does supervise employees.

The work will be performed in a warehouse environment with exposure to changing temperatures. While performing the duties of this job, this person is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.
