Warehouse Representative
Job description
The Gazette is seeking a part-time Warehouse Representative to work in our Distribution Warehouse. This position is responsible for preparing products for delivery with the goal of providing quality products and customer service to our subscribers.
This position pays $17.00 per hours.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Pre-spotting the correct number of all inserts, Classified sections, Main sections, polybags and supplies to individual carrier benches located inside the Distribution Center in a timely manner.
- Fold/prepare newspapers for delivery
- Accurately reads manifests
- Spot correct number of bundles to carrier folding benches (all preprints, Classified, Main, sections, etc.)
- Report shortages and overages.
- Completes mileage and recovery reports as needed, and submit in a timely manner
- Provides route delivery as needed and directed by management.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Must be able to accurately fold newspapers and bundle for delivery.- Must be able to read, understand and comply with company policies.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. frequently.
Minimum Education & Work Experience Requirements :
Education: High school graduate or equivalent.- Certifications/Licenses: Must have a valid driver’s license in good standing.
- Work schedule: Must be available for flexible shifts including weekends, evenings, early morning hours and holidays.
