Shift Details:

• Pay: $20-$23/hr (Based on experience)
• 1st shift hours: 7:00 am – 3:30 pm, Monday- Friday
• Opportunity for overtime

Mechanical Assemblers are in charge of assembling and testing multiple styles of front and rear bus door electrical and pneumatic actuators. Qualified Candidates must have mechanical assembly experience including experience with pneumatic, electric and hand tools. Daily responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Apply drawing and Bill of Material to accurately assemble sub-assemblies and final assembly Base Plates
• Use pneumatic tools, hand tools, electric tools and torque tools to attach and properly secure a wide variety of components and subassemblies to a base plates
• Adjust components as needed and certify quality of assembly or sub-assembly
• Follow assembly drawings and verbal directions from Team Leader and supervisor. Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs

Requirements:

• Must be able to read blueprints, schematics and manufacturing instructions in a sufficient manner to complete the assigned assembly tasks
• At least 1 year of experience using electrical and/or pneumatic hand tools OR related technical/vocational school experience
