You Will...

• Lead and continue to build Duolingo's People Operations team
• Develop and implement People programs that help make Duolingo an even more amazing place to work and enhance our culture
• Define and implement key people analytics to support thoughtful, data-driven people decisions
• Continuously assess whether we have the right People tools and process, and explore new partnership opportunities that allow Duolingo to scale efficiently
• Own our implementation of Workday

Requirements:

• 10+ years of rich experience in total rewards, people operations and HR systems with a rapidly growing organization
• Experience with a wide variety of HR tools and systems including implementation of new products. Experience with Workday strongly preferred
• Passion for developing programs that scale in a fast growing organization with a global workforce
• An "out of the box" problem solver when it comes to finding new innovative ways to enhance our Total Rewards program(s)
• Deep understanding of the current market, including staying ahead of industry trends of both comp and benefits

Exceptional Candidates Will Have...

• Worked in a consumer, tech startup
• Passion for language learning or education
• Experience working with global, distributed workforce
• Experience working or living abroad
