Citi Global Wealth (GWM) is a unified Wealth organization focused on delivering the full capabilities of Citi to clients across all the Citi Private Bank, Citi Wealth at Work (WaW), and Consumer Wealth businesses. Citi Global Wealth is a single, integrated platform serving clients across the wealth continuum, from the affluent segment to ultra-high net worth clients.

GWM Risk Management is an independent global organization within Citi Risk Management organization that provides independent challenge and oversight to the credit portfolio and broad risk-taking practices within the GWM business and ensures that such activities remain within the defined risk appetite and limits.

The Citi WaW Group serves more than 50,000 attorneys at Law Firms headquartered across the US and UK with the Lawyer Financing Product Program and Partner Lending Product Program being key offerings. Loan types include a) Capital contribution loans, b) revolving credits, c) term loans, and d) short-term financing loans.

This particular position will be part of the Citi Independent Risk Organization, serving as 2nd line of defense and working alongside 2LoD Risk Managers, 1st Line Transactors, and 1st Line Portfolio Managers.

Responsibilities:

Credit related

  • Review credit proposals and provide Credit Approvals (within assigned credit limit)
  • Provide feedback to Citi Wealth at Work Risk SCOs on more complex credit proposals and those outside assigned credit limit
  • Assist Citi Wealth at Work Risk SCOs in the review of the quarterly Quantifiable Metrics for Credit Product Programs to ensure data quality and completeness
  • Design and implement monitoring tools, dashboards, portfolio reports and prepare presentation decks to Senior Management / Regulators.
  • Develop strong understanding and demonstrate ability to follow risk policies and procedures related to the job function
  • Assist Risk Managers and work in partnership with Investment Finance in the renewal of Credit Product Programs as well as the preparation and conduct of Portfolio Reviews
  • Undertake assigned ad-hoc Risk projects / assist Risk Managers in ad-hoc projects

Governance / Regulatory related

  • Assist in the ICG Wholesale Credit Risk Remediation and GWM Integration and other Citi Transformation Initiatives
  • Coordinate and assist in other Risk ad-hoc projects which may arise from time to time

Qualifications:

  • At least 3-5 years of credit experience in one or more areas: consumer credit including real estate, business/commercial credit, professional services firm/law firm credit
  • Exposure to Delinquency-managed portfolios and/or unsecured consumer lending
  • Detail-oriented, able to work independently but is also a good team player
  • Advanced analytical skills
  • Excellent planning, project management and organizational skills
  • Capable of handling multiple projects at same time
  • Good communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint)

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience. Background in Accounting / Finance will be advantageous
