Vineyard Manager

Job Description

Results Partners is looking for a Vineyard Manager to play a key role in our company.

We are a forward thinking, quality driven, fast paced and growth-oriented vineyard management company growing wine grapes in the Willamette Valley of Oregon. Our office is in McMinnville, Oregon and we manage vineyards throughout the Willamette Valley.

You will work alongside other Vineyard Managers and Viticulturists in a team environment and will focus on all aspects of day-to-day farming activities for vineyard and winery owners.

You will be involved with both equipment management and labor oversight. To be successful you must be the kind of person who pays attention to the details, is highly organized, enjoys cleanliness, loves agriculture, understands the growing season and its demands, understands business, and ultimately must be someone who will do whatever it takes to see both employees and vineyards succeed.

Qualifications

• Must have a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, exceptional communication skills and enjoy working within a team
• Must have prior working experience with general equipment used within vineyards (tractors, cultivation tools, fungicide, and herbicide sprayers, etc.)
• Must have prior working experience with vineyard crews and a general understanding of work task timeframes during the season and the intricacies of labor needs
• Must be able to obtain an FLC license
• Ability (or desire to learn) to speak and write in both English and Spanish
• Will be required to work long hours, starting in the early morning
• Ability to acquire a Commercial Applicator License
• Must have previous vineyard management experience or supervision role in vineyard management
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must be able to lead a team of skilled vineyard employees
• Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel

Pay and Benefits

Pay is dependent upon experience
