YOUR ROLE IN OUR MISSION
The Video Production Supervisor is responsible supervising the different facets of video production, including scheduling, planning and production itself. Overseeing the entire pre-production and post-production of the video project. Assisting management in controlling all activities with vendors such as media houses, I.T. companies as well as stage & audio contractors
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY
- On-Location Shoots, Announcements , Radio/TV Advertisements, Inspirational Video Content, Talent Wrangling, Snippets/Video Recaps
- Oversees Video Production Coordinators
- Oversees Voice-Over Talent
- Scheduling Video Production Coordinators
- Security and Maintenance of Video Production Equipment
- Providing Video Production coverage for in-house and on-location Department of Ministry Shoots
- Providing Video Production coverage for Pop-Up/External News-Media Events
- Attend and participate in the presentation of any weekly staff meetings
- Enforcing all safety policies during production
- Overseeing all training to increase production
- Maintaining communication between Video Production Leadership and employees to ensure that necessary policies are understood and followed
- Ensuring that the flow of resources like raw materials(batteries, cabling, etc) is maintained and that production items are delivered as needed and used properly and efficiently.
- Addressing and relaying any technical issues or needs to the appropriate vendors as well as alerting the Video Production Management.
- Assist with the hiring of team members
- Assign Video Production Coordinators to specific task(asset Archiving, Production Room environmental services, etc)
- Oversee editing, lighting, set-up, tear-down, filming, and communications with production coordinators, volunteers, the communications project manager and department of ministry management.
- All other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS AND IDEAL CHARACTERISTICS
- A preferred minimum of 3 years of videography, graphic design
- Strong project and time management skills
- Ability to edit using Adobe creative suite(After Effects, Photoshop, Premiere, Audition and Lightroom)
- Basic copywriting and proofing skills
- Ability to operate Ross Carbonite Switcher
- A basic understanding of Youtube, Facebook, LinkedIN and Instagram
- Working knowledge of DSLR videography, photography and studio lighting techniques
- Must be open to feedback and responsive to creative directional changes with quick turnaround time.
- Microsoft Office Suite experience I.e. Word, Powerpoint, Excel and Outlook.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Teams and Zoom
- Ability to operate Mac and PC
