SportsVet Animal Medical Center is seeking a Certified/Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team!

We are a busy full-service and emergency, AAHA accredited animal hospital located in Savoy, Illinois. We provide a wide range of services for our patients including routine veterinary wellness care, 24/7 emergency medicine, and advanced orthopedic surgery and rehabilitation. We have cultivated an outstanding team to maintain efficient and quality patient care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The candidate we are seeking should be professional, willing to work as part of our extraordinary team, and enjoy providing exceptional service to our clients and our canine and feline patients.

In this role you will:

Work closely with our Urgent Care / ER DVM’s seeing emergencies, assisting with surgeries, and providing hospitalized care to our patients.

At SportsVet, we rely heavily on our CVT’s and utilize them to the fullest!

Job Requirements

Applicants must have a valid Certified Veterinary Technician License in the state of Illinois in order to be considered for this position

Hours: A combination of day and night shifts will be required. Flexibility in weekdays, weekends and occasional holidays is a must. A generous pay differential is offered when overnight shifts are worked.

Compensation: Starts at $18 - $20 / Hour based on experience.
