We are adding to our team of Veterinary Assistants! If you are looking to take your veterinary career to the next level, we want to talk to you! We are looking for an individual who is self-motivated and willing to learn.
Key Responsibilities
- Safe handling & restraint of animals
- Obtain vital signs & medical history
- Assist in performing diagnostics
- Dispense and administer medications and preventatives
- Maintain case files and communications
- Cleaning and restocking exam rooms, treatment, and kennel areas
- Ability to communicate with all types of people in all situations
- Comfort, support, and educate pet owners
- Effective communication with your team
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with small and large animals
- Rotating on-call nights and weekends are REQUIRED
- RVT is preferred but veterinary experience will be considered
