Certified Veterinary Technician

Palisades Veterinary Hospital is located in Fountain Hill, AZ, and is seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic Certified Veterinary Technician to join our team! The position is full time, Monday through Friday (with some Saturday mornings) for 36-40+ hours a week.

As a multi-doctor, small animal practice that specializes in providing high quality, compassionate and convenient care for our patients, we recognize the importance of the relationships between humans and animals. Our pet families truly are extensions of our own families. Our facility is designed with advanced diagnostic and treatment technology to better serve our patients while giving pet parents peace of mind. We are looking for a team member who enjoys challenge and teamwork.

Skills/ Requirements

The ideal candidates MUST have the following:

• Great work-ethic, possess strong customer service skills and be team focused.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience/ CVT required.

• Ability to delegate, train, and willingness to rollup your sleeves when called upon.
• Strong surgical and dental skills.
• Proficient in IV catheter placement, blood draws, injections.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment - preferably Idexx.
• Experience/knowledge with Cornerstone practice management software is a plus.

Salary is dependent on experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Veterinary Technician: 2 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• Veterinary Technician Certification (Preferred)
