• Maintain and uphold the Core Values and Mission Statement of MVP.
• Assist in all daily duties for clinic and patient care including, but not limited to: cleaning and sanitizing of facility, assisting veterinary technician and doctor with animal handling, filling medications, running appointments, assisting with patient rehabilitation and physical therapy needs.
• Client communication and education; reviewing prices, estimates, and instructions.
• Assisting in other areas of the facility as needed
• Reviewing medical records and use of practice management software system to record all pertinent medical, client and case related information.

We help dogs & cats heal from acute/chronic injuries, surgeries, neurological conditions, and more. We are also growing our conditioning program for working & sporting dogs! This is a fun, hands-on, physically active position. It is always changing and you get to watch patients improve and recover from surgery or injuries.

• Computer knowledge required- keyboarding and use of communication tools (e-mail/internet).
• Once trained, must understand working knowledge of veterinary terminology- must be able to pronounce, spell, and know the meaning.
• Must have excellent spelling and grammar.
• Ability to handle varied and sometimes difficult conditions; will be exposed to highly emotional and medical crisis situations.
• Ability to display tact and respect with clients and team members, even when busy or hectic.
• Ability to conduct oneself in a confident, calm, and professional manner with clients and staff when situations are stressful and/or focused on individual tasks.
• Must be confident around animals.

• Must be in the process of obtaining or have attained a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
