Metropolitan Veterinary Specialty Services is privately held, fast-paced growing veterinary hospital is looking for experienced individual to join our Client Care Specialist (CCS) Reception team. Following are the core responsibilities and skills:

• Ability to phone triage
• Experience working with a client/patient care team in a fast paced high volume setting
• Excel in delivering excellent client/patient care
• Excellent internal and external communication skills
• Enjoy working with people and passionate about pet care
• Ability to coordinate patient flow with triage nurses and doctors
• Innovative problem solver, ability to translate problems into practical solutions

• Enjoy exploring new technology
• Experience with EMR systems
• Proficient with MS Office software; Word, Excel, etc

Qualifications:

High school graduate with one year experience in a veterinary practice setting or other high volume client/patient care related position.

Current open shift is split first and second shift; . Tuesday 3pm - 1am, Wed & Thurs. 2 pm - 12 am, and Friday 10 am - 8 pm. This shift may include overnight and/or weekend shift differential.

Physical activity to include walking, bending, stooping, reaching, lifting and standing with prolonged periods of time sitting entering computer data.

Ability to speak and hear sufficiently to understand and relay information both in person and over the phone.

Ability to speak, write and understand the English language. Ability to speak and understand a second language is a plus.
