Hickory Grove Animal Hospital is currently seeking a full time veterinary technician or assistant. We need someone who has great communication skills, gets along well with others, is passionate about animal care and wants to be a positive part of a team that provides excellent patient care. Our staff members are trained for and work in all positions in the hospital. In addition to regular veterinary services, we also offer digital dental radiography and K-Laser therapy.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Answering phones, invoicing, checking in and discharging patients, taking medical histories, drawing blood and placing catheters, performing lab tests and taking taking radiographs, prepping for surgery, monitoring anesthesia, performing dental cleanings, monitoring recoveries from surgical procedures, maintaining equipment, and client education.

Experience is required (1 year minimum) to apply.

Must be able to work independently and with the team.

Must have excellent work ethic.

Must be able to lift 40 pounds.

Salary and benefits are based on experience level.

This position requires every other Saturday (mornings only)
