Inver Grove Heights Animal Hospital is a fun, fast paced, progressive practice, providing general treatment and specialty services such as extensive canine reproductive services, advanced surgery, acupuncture and aging pet care. We’re seeking a full-time or part-time Veterinary Assistant to perform a variety of responsibilities including assisting doctors in examinations, medical record charting, filling and administering medications, obtaining and processing laboratory samples, diagnostic imaging through x-ray and ultrasound. Our Veterinary Assistants also assist with canine reproduction, assisting with breeding procedures.

Qualified candidates are confident, adaptable, able to assess situations and use good judgment to keep our busy workflow running smooth. Individuals who have dedicated work ethic, excellent communication skills, proficient computer skills, and the ability to multi-task and maintain high productivity are encouraged to apply. Candidates must also be able to meet the position’s physical demands including lifting and restraining animals, standing most of the workday and extensive use of hands and arms.
