SUMMARY:
Family Service League is seeking a full-time Utilization Reviewer, who will oversee and perform utilization review for all of Family Service League’s non-clinical programs. The Utilization Reviewer will perform case reviews in detail, effectively communicate deficiencies to programs, and follow-up on necessary corrective actions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Complete chart reviews for enrolled participants of non-clinical programs.
• Maintain accurate reporting for completed utilization reviews.
• Effectively communicate program results to Utilization Review and Management Supervisor, as well as non-clinical Program Directors and/or Supervisors.
• Maintain current knowledge of assigned program regulations and support FSL’s compliance policies.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in a Human Service related field required; Master’s degree preferred. At least two years related experience required. Candidate must have prior knowledge of paperwork compliance and agency regulations. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and verbal and written communication skills required. Candidate must possess the ability to work independently. Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and electronic health records required. This position is located in Central Islip, but travel to other locations may be required.
