Job description
The Manager of Healthcare Finance will assist in the development and overall management of multiple pricing and utilization related databases aggregated from various host systems. The databases are for use within managed care as well as operations, revenue cycle and business development functions within Tenet and are critical for the strategic management, operations, negotiations, and business planning relating to managed care payors. Specific duties include:Maintenance of current ASC database which has been fully converted to SQL structure.
Expansion of current ASC database to include all new acquisitions.
Help create new SQL database for non-acute surgical hospitals.
Report creation, both standard monthly reports and ad-hoc; many based on very complex sets of criteria requiring advanced database design and queries.

Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems or related field strongly preferred but not required.
2+ years of experience with high volume data management.
Strong Microsoft Excel knowledge.
Strong Microsoft Access or other software tools used for data management.
Strong Microsoft SQL skills.
Healthcare financial analysis experience preferred but not required.
Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
