User Experience Strategist - Quality Transformation (Remote)

A reasonable salary expectation is between $118,248.00 - $150,779.20, based upon experience and internal equity.
Position Summary/Position
Reporting to the Manager, Measure Transformation or Manager, Strategic Partnerships, the User Experience Strategist - Quality Transformation will lead the strategic and functional design of human-centered solutions to advance IEHP strategic priorities and goals to improve quality to Members, providers, and community-based organizations. Major Functions (Duties and Responsibilities)
1. Lead the strategic and functional design effort balancing business strategy, researching findings, innovation and ideation to generate human-centered solutions.
2. Set up and conduct user research.
3. Analyze and synthesize research findings and business data to inform the product roadmap, designs, and future activities.
4. Create and maintain the UX strategy, vision statement, design guidelines, and best practices through proper documentation and supporting illustrations, including storyboards, wireframes, process flows, context scenarios, high quality user flows, end-to-end experiences.
5. Support end-to-end product development processes including requirement analysis, user research, prototyping, usability testing, and review. Supervisory Responsibilities Leading: Guides Others Experience Qualifications
A minimum of eight (8) years of experience in UX projects, translating consumer insights into usability experiences, and member-centered innovation approaches. Preferred Experience
Experience in health plan/healthcare environment preferred. Education Qualifications
Master’s degree in any Science, Health Related field, Business, IT, Engineering, or Marketing from an accredited institution required. Drivers License Required Yes, must have a valid California Driver's License. Knowledge Requirement
Knowledge in:
- User Experience Design, Journey Maps, Wireframes, Prototyping, A/B Testing, Psychographic Profile Interpretation, Behavioral Economics, Cultural Anthropology.
- Exception design thinking methodologies, UX/UI best practices, user centered design process and techniques.
Familiarity with:
- Health Plan or Hospital Federal, State and Accreditation Requirements.
- Provider Workflows and Care Coordination and Transition Management processes.
- SDOH, Health Equity, Community Resources, Person-Centered Care, Alternative Care Models. Skills Requirement
- Ability to craft experience with tools including Figma, Sketch, Invision, etc.
- Excellent analytical and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to teach others about UX/UI concepts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Excel.
- Ability to organize and motivate other members in the project team. Abilities Requirement
