About This Role

The US BBU team is looking for a Director of CE&O US BBU to collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide strategic guidance and data driven insights to help shape product & portfolio decisions and performance. This candidate will be a member of the US BBU leadership team and report to the Vice President, Head of US BBU.

What You’ll Do

You will be a key member of the US BBU leadership team for Biogen’s biosimilars franchise, responsible for creating & implementing the insight generation roadmap to support launch preparations for in market and pipeline products in the US. You and your team will deliver impactful analytics and insights from in-market data, competitive intelligence, and market research to support the go-to-market strategy, market definition (HCP and patient,), forecasting (demand/supply and financial) and field force sizing for various product launches. Drive insight integration into brand plans and brand strategies. Support brand performance assessment and narrative, and all financial planning processes (AOP, national / sub-nation forecasts, LRP and field commercial model planning).

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the key point of contact and strategic partner for US BBU Franchise VP, US BBU department leaders, Head of USO CE&O and Global Biosimilar franchise partners across a wide range of growing assets.
• Drive the effective synthesis of Analytics and Customer Insights work
• Manage a growing department of direct reports to build and US BBU specific CE&O capabilities while creating strong partnership with US CE&O department functions (Data Strategy, Multi-Channel Marketing, Commercial Operations)
• Accountable for generating, presenting, defending, and maintaining forecasts of products, commercial investment needs and markets with a high degree of precision and insight
• Manage national and sub-national forecasting and reporting including data management. Evaluates key data needed to track performance & predict trends.
• Aligns business partners on demand and forecast planning. Create, validate, and refine mid and long-range demand planning supporting financial analysis and supply forecast.

Required Skills

• 7 plus years of commercial analytics or brand insights experience within a pharmaceutical company, market research vendor, or consulting firm supporting the pharmaceutical industry.
• Proven ability to work across business partners and team members to prioritize, activate and ensure coordinated communication with team and extended partners
• Minimum of direct experience in at least one of the following disciplines required: Market Research, Competitive Intelligence, financial modeling and forecasting, and/or consulting vendor. Multi-disciplinary experience strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of market research, forecasting, brand planning and CE&O principles a must.
• Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent)

• 10 plus years of commercial analytics or brand insights experience
• MBA preferred
