University Recruiting and DEI Program Manager
Location: 100% Remote (preference given to candidates living in the following locations: St. Louis, MO; Erlanger, KY; and Decatur, IL)
The University Recruiting and DEI Program Manager will be responsible for the campus and trade school recruitment strategy and DEI efforts as they relate to campus recruiting. This position will develop internal and external facing relationships and partner with corporate and campus stakeholders including aligned ADM Business Unit leadership, Hiring Managers, and HR to recruit top talent from campus and selected trade schools. As the DEI Program Manager, this role will be responsible for developing, managing and executing diversity partnerships with aligned organizations, associations and schools at the local level.
As a member of our dynamic campus recruiting team, this role requires a creative and collaborative approach to networking, branding, diversity, and engagement.
ADM specifically seeks a University Recruiting Manager who can specifically assist in the development and execution of the campus recruiting strategy by identifying diverse talent in 4-year universities and 2-year universities, colleges and trade schools.
Build talent networks and tap into knowledgeable industry resources to develop diverse candidate pipelines. (ie-career services, campus faculty, student groups, external partners, etc.)
Develop and facilitate training, presentations, orientations, and information sessions for students, interns, managers, and business partners of all levels.
Use strong analytical skills and the ability to translate metrics, research, and trends to identify opportunities for process improvement and search strategies.
Must be able to travel during the August - March recruiting season – approximately 8-10 trips per year.
Responsibilities
Build and maintain relationships with historically diverse universities.
Manage Diversity focused partnerships (ex: Thurgood Marshall, MANRRs) to represent ADM as a destination for early career talent.
Build and execute strategies to attract diverse students for both internships and full-time opportunities with ADM.
Assist in the development and execution of the campus recruiting strategy by identifying diverse talent in identified 4-year and 2-year schools.
Build talent networks and tap into knowledgeable industry resources to develop diverse candidate pipelines. (ie-career services, campus faculty, student groups, external partners, etc.)
Interface and partner with HR leaders, business partners, hiring managers, and talent acquisition team to fulfill recruitment needs.
Develop prospects into candidates and assess role fit, level, and motivations by conducting calibrated phone screens.
Provide market insights and reports on various aspects of recruiting including campus branding, candidate experience, and new hire management.
Ensure all recruiting guidelines are followed per the ADM Employee handbook, compensation guidelines, and local and federal recruiting requirements.
Support branding across the campuses/trade school community using targeted social media strategies, technology, and career fair tools.
Develop and facilitate training, presentations, orientations, and information sessions for students, interns, managers, and business partners of all levels.
Use strong analytical skills and the ability to translate metrics, research, and trends to identify opportunities for process improvement and search strategies.
Create positive candidate experience through problem resolution, timely responses, and delivery of exceptional service to candidates.
Travel as needed for specific campus events.
No relocation will be provided for this opportunity.
Qualifications
Bachelors in a related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
5+ years of experience in a related field
2+ years of campus strategy and programing recruiting experience required
Diversity recruiting experience heavily preferred; having worked with HBCU’s is desired
Strong organizational, time management, and execution abilities
Strategic thinker with analytical skills
Demonstrated ability to build internal and external relationships
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
Strong public speaking and presentation skills; comfortable presenting to large groups
Demonstrated capability to lead and manage projects
Flexible and adaptable to a fast-paced work environment
Capable of managing multiple software tools including but not limited to, Handshake, Simplicity, Kenexa, online reporting systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Must be able to travel during the August - March recruiting season – approximately 15 trips per year
