TS Bank is seeking to hire a Universal Banker II for our locations within Pottawattamie County, Iowa.The Universal Banker II contributes to sales targets by identifying and fulfilling simple sales opportunities and promoting Bank products. This includes greeting clients, opening day-to-day accounts and working closely with team members to ensure an optimal client experience.

Possess a high school diploma or GED certification required. Additional post high school education and/or training is preferred. Two years of work experience in a financial institution and knowledge of account opening is preferred. Possess or obtain Notary Certification within three months of appointment. Prior sales experience a plus.

Location of position: Pottawattamie County, Iowa
Required Experience:


  • Perform all essential responsibilities and tasks of all Universal Banker levels proficiently.
  • Process CD’s and ability to utilize Stanley Retail Deposit System for CD sales; can negotiate matured CD’s
  • Efficiently and proficiently open business accounts, fiduciary accounts, and HSA/IRA accounts; process IRA contributions and distributions
  • Proficient in basic consumer lending including CD Secured, unsecured auto, etc. Begin shadowing UB III and Lead UB on lending.
  • Provide awareness of all banking products and services via outbound communication and interaction with current and prospective clients. Make appropriate referrals and possesses a thorough knowledge of TS Banking Group products and services. Gathers and organize client information based on referrals; answer questions regarding same; make follow-up calls; use CRM system to prepare and proceed with the next steps in referral process (current and prospective clientele); provide feedback to supervisor and affected bank personnel.
  • Work closely with Investment personnel to support trust requirements.
  • Ability to perform all other duties as assigned.
  • Comply with all banking and company regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from employees of company and the general public. Must possess good communication skills. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to operate the following: telephone, personal computer, printer, copy machine, fax machine. Working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database software programs. Advanced PC knowledge beneficial.
