Responsibilities
Responsiblities:
- Schedule appointments and pull charts for scheduled appointments.
- Assists with patient registration.
- Helps patient’s process forms, as needed.
- Maintains a continuous stock of blank charts for new patients.
- May enter follow-up visits as the patients exit the center and will also enter any recall appointments.
- Assist patients in retrieving previous medical records. Scans all hard copy medical records into the electronic health record.
- Assists with reception, nursing, and pharmacy stocking
This position is represented by SEIU-UHW and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
Qualifications
Required:
- At least three years’ experience as a receptionist working in a medical clinic setting or closely related field.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
Preferred:
- Medical Terminology.
