Underwriter (Structured Finance - Multifamily Commercial Real Estate)
Job description
Our client is a large well-established commercial real estate finance group who spans the US. They are currently seeking an experienced VP Underwriter to join their Bridge Finance team anywhere in the US.
Open to hiring fully remote for the right fit.
Qualified candidates should have at least 5 years of experience handling complex bridge, structured and/or mezzanine CRE loans.
Some responsibilities include:
- Perform all aspects of financial analysis, underwriting, and loan structuring; including statement spreading, risk assessment, projections and sensitivity analysis, industry and management assessments, collateral analysis and completion of credit approval documents.
- Review and analyze financial statements, tax returns and cash flow statements of borrowers and guarantors.
- Interface with credit, asset management, and treasury, as required, to facilitate the underwriting, closing and transition of prospects to portfolio management.
