Our Vein Clinic is looking for an Ultrasonographer to support the team by performing venous exams and interpreting data. The successful candidate will need a background in performing ultrasound exams along with a current valid license to practice.
The practicing surgeon and the full time RVT, will always be on site at the office, to assist and support the new hire.
The individual will be required to schedule appointments and prepare patients for examination. The ideal candidate will enjoy working as part of a team to support the Ultrasonography department, have previous experience in the medical field, have strong communication skills and be comfortable working with patients.
Responsibilities:
- Use vascular ultrasound to evaluate POST Procedural varicose vein patients.
- Be able to identify abnormal structures.
- Be aware of normal structures and conditions.
- Know the level of pain a patient is feeling in order to assess their condition.
- Learn and adhere to all safety regulations and IAC accrediation standards.
Job Types: Part-time, PRN
Pay: $37.00 - $39.00 per hour
