About the Role:
Are you ready to start your UI design career? As a UI Designer I, you will be responsible for designing smaller, targeted experiences that help solve customer problems. You’ll work closely with experienced UI designers, UX designers, UI engineers, UX writers, and UXQA deliver requirements, improve your craft, and learn how to design at scale. This is a great opportunity for those fresh out of school, bootcamp, or who are transitioning from other disciplines.
In this role, you’ll be joining our design system team within the Platform product pillar. The Platform product pillar is responsible for the shared experiences within Falcon, CrowdStrike’s web-based application for detecting and stopping cybersecurity threats. The design system team is responsible for creating reusable, scalable components and patterns to accelerate Falcon’s development, and provide a consistent, easy to learn and use experience for our customers.

What You'll Do:

Engage with our internal users to make data-driven decisions about our experiences.

Create and deliver UX artifacts and requirements like wireframes and prototypes.

Improve CrowdStrike’s design system to speed up delivery and design consistent experiences for our users.

Participates in larger projects and activities under the guidance of a senior designer.

Collaborate with project team members to solve internal customer problems.
What You'll Need:

You focus on the customer’s needs first and foremost. You always ask the question, “What is the problem this user is trying to solve right now?”

You are familiar with UX design tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or InVision.

You are familiar with core UX design principles like usability, accessibility, and consistency. Don’t worry if you haven’t done this in a professional setting yet, you’ll have plenty of opportunity in this role!
Preferred Qualifications
-
Delivery of a project while acting as a UI Designer (personal projects are okay).

Evidence of validating your UX design decisions with data, like usability testing, customer satisfaction surveys, or success metrics.

Experience with design systems and platform design work.

Experience of Software as a Service (SaaS) products.

Knowledge of the cybersecurity industry.
