Type: Step Down Unit RN

Location: Birmingham, AL.

Fidé is currently seeking a Step Down Unit RN with 2+ years of current experience for a 13-week contract in Birmingham, AL.

Provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization. Responsibilities: • Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records and communicates patient conditions as appropriate. • Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. • Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders. • Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team. Complexity of Work: • Within the scope of the job, it requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment. Personal Protective Equipment: • Follow Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.

Compliance Credentials Needed for Submission:

• RN AL License
• Current AHA BLS
• COVID Vaccination Card and Current Flu Shot Status
• Skills Checklist from within the past year
• Interview Availability (best time and days)
• Resume
• Two Supervisory References from the past two years of employment

Hours Per Week: 36

Shift: 12 hour days, 6:45 AM - 7 PM
