Position Summary:
Tidal Basin Group, the leading experts in disaster and emergency management consulting, has an opportunity for a dynamic, adaptable, and skilled coordinator to join our Resource Management team! The ideal candidate will be a knowledgeable professional with experience in making travel arrangements and the ability to understand and coordinate travel schedules, as well as experience in recruitment functions, i.e., sourcing and talent acquisition to assist in recruitment for cadre and corporate roles, as well supporting overall operations of Resource Management.
Job Duties and Responsibilities include:
The role will perform the following essential functions:
- Make travel arrangements using Sabre in support of the Travel team.
- Respond quickly and cordially to travel requests including airfare, car rentals, and hotels.
- Perform recruitment duties including but not limited to posting job descriptions, sourcing, and interviewing candidates, conducting thorough intake calls with hiring managers, updating candidates on application status, and providing updates to management regularly on requisition status.
- Support deployment and demobilization activities.
- Professionally negotiate offers with potential employees.
- Perform BOOLEAN search techniques for various level roles.
- Maintain a strong pipeline of candidates for both current and potential roles to meet the needs of the organization.
- Adhere to all hiring business processes and maintain appropriate documentation to ensure seamless acquisition of talent.
Education and Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience in lieu of degree.
- 3 to 5 years of travel, recruiting and operations coordination experience preferred.
Skills and Competencies:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to staff multiple projects concurrently
- Ability to work in office or remotely and independently
- Possess excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to “think outside the box” and utilize creativity to source in challenging markets
- Strong organization and negotiation skills
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed to meet surge efforts
