Trauma ICD-10 coding certificate within one year of hire/transfer

Experience in Microsoft Office (excel, word, power point).

Experience in registry programs

Experience with ICD-10 and AIS injury coding

Knowledge of medical terminology

Computer system knowledge, including word processing and database use.

Knowledge of ICD-10 coding required.
POSITION SUMMARY/PURPOSE
The Trauma Registrar is responsible for compilation and abstraction of specific data to enter into the registry for the purposes of state and national guidelines/ regulations and performance improvement.
