Job Description:
Responsible for the management of Supplier Development, including purchasing, development of current transportation suppliers, and sourcing new transportation suppliers. Source transportation from current and new suppliers, enable growth from cost-competitive sourcing, and deliver transportation costs at or below market across the business.

- Manages the supplier network to give Enovis a competitive advantage with reliable, innovative, loyal industry leaders as our suppliers.
- Delivers the highest quality possible relative to cost to serve, capacity assurance, and service to our end customers.
- Partners with relative departments in conducting supplier audits. Issues quarterly report cards to suppliers to help them improve their operations.
- In partnership with the business, develop policies and procedures
- Provides input into the annual budgeting process, such as cost estimates for transportation by lane and by mode.
- Responsible for understanding the transportation supply chain, including a depth of understanding across modes of transportation to include over the road trucking and intermodal transportation.
- Applies industry trends and knowledge in developing strategic sourcing recommendations to the business.
- Develops a successful vision/strategy through strong leadership skills.
- Monitors and ensures achievement of performance goals and objectives either directly or through others.
- Conducts cost improvement programs.
- Responsible for sourcing transportation in new lanes to enable growth (new business wins).
- Responsible for understanding and complying with applicable quality, environmental and safety regulatory considerations. If accountable for the work of others, responsible for ensuring their understanding and compliance.

- Bachelor's degree plus 8 years of supply chain, operations, transportation / logistics or finance experience to include supervisory or managerial experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
- MBA/Master's degree, preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish and English required
- Skilled in communicating a compelling vision of the future.
- Good teamwork skills.
- Experience leading by example, affecting culture change.
- Experience solving problems efficiently and effectively.
- Experience working with all levels and functions within the Company.
- Experience reading, analyzing, and interpreting various reports and documents.
- Experience presenting issues clearly and concisely; generate accurate analysis, with a good understanding of the cause and effect that will occur with each alternative solution both inside and outside the supply chain.
- Skilled in defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid and concise conclusions and recommendations.
- Experience interpreting an extensive variety of data related to various situations dealing with both abstract and concrete variables.
- Skilled in responding to common inquiries or complaints from internal customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
- Skilled in effectively presenting information to top management.
