As part of the Bay Area Workplace team, the Transportation Coordinator supports programs and services to encourage and support the use of commute alternatives for all employees. Transportation Coordinator supports the daily function of Tesla’s employee transportation programs. Reporting to the Transportation Manager, the Transportation Coordinator will assist in the development and implementation of marketing initiatives, writing and editing marketing collateral, providing and ensuring excellent customer service, and administering TDM programs, services and events. TDM programs include and not limited to Commuter Shuttles, Bike to Tesla program, and Carpool/Vanpool programs.
What You’ll Do- Represent Workplace Transportation at outreach activities that may include communications, wellness/commute/sustainability events, info booth tabling, lunch and learns, focus groups, appreciation events etc.
- Fielding general inquires and feedback from transportation ticketing system with high customer service, promptness and professionalism, escalating issues as needed
- Assist with marketing and promotional campaigns and initiatives, which may include writing and/or editing newsletters/flyers, screen monitors, editing web/app content, surveys, writing promotional and customer-service email messages, assisting with creation and distribution of TDM communications material, and signage
- Coordinate day-to-day operations across transportation programs with multiple vendors
- Design and execute communication campaigns to increase ridership and overall program participation
- Serve as a point of contact for employees and vendors, responding to transportation related inquires, suggestions, and complaints in a prompt, responsive, and professional manner
- Minimum 2 years of marketing and program administration experience
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with constantly changing priorities and demands
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly proficient in Excel, Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Ability to work evening and weekend hours as necessary
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative and ownership of projects
- Evidence of exceptional ability
