CAMFS is currently hiring an Onboarding and Training Specialist to join our Corporate Training team to support future growth of the Company. The (CAMFS) Onboarding and Training Specialist is a subject matter expert on all internal systems, policies, and procedures while serving CAMFS team members through growth, development, and engagement during the onboarding phase and throughout the employee life cycle. The Onboarding and Training Specialist will also serve as the main administrator of the technician survey and Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification programs at CAMFS.

DUTIES
  • Partner with functional leaders to successfully onboard and integrate new team members into the organization. Initial focus will be the facilitation of Mobile Technician onboarding, both virtually and in person
  • Deliver procedural/process content and coordinate administrative responsibilities for new team member orientation; especially pertaining to the TRAIT® device and available internal support resources
  • Assist new team members in understanding our culture and empower them with the tools, resources, and knowledge to rush their speed to competency
  • Administer post-onboarding surveys, collect, and analyze survey results, share data with functional leaders, and champion process enhancements that impact technician engagement and retention
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) to create and manage a program to achieve Blue Seal certification status
  • Serve as a champion of the ASE certification program, monitor certification progress, align internal/external resources to maximize successful outcomes, and assist with recertification process
  • Maintain, update, and act on training and certification records for team members
  • Assist field management in evaluating technician engagement, sharing targeted feedback, and implementing solutions for CAMFS team members.
  • Facilitate periodic learning sessions related to IT systems, processes, and various frontline leadership topics; both at the Home Office and occasionally in the field
  • Become a systems and process expert by providing vILT and ILT learning sessions to internal and external stakeholders
  • Support ad hoc programs related to CAMFS onboarding and Corporate Training initiatives
  • Other duties, as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 3 years of corporate training experience; preferably new team member onboarding, facilitation, and program management
  • Bachelor's degree in Organizational Training and Development, Educational Technology, or similar preferred
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Word)
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills to partner with Corporate Training team members and other stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written
  • Proven facilitation skills with the ability to effectively engage adult learners
  • Excellent program management skills with the ability to manage multiple programs in varying stages of implementation while adhering to timelines, strict quality standards, and a strong attention to detail
  • Positive attitude and self-starter
  • Possess a Servant Leadership mindset
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Common knowledge of the trucking industry; fleet maintenance or other transportation experience in automotive/trucking is preferrable
  • Mechanical inclination strongly preferred, either professional or enthusiast competency
  • Travel up to 10% may be possible
