Training Analyst
Store Support Center

We are searching for an experienced Training Analyst for our Store Support Center, located at 600 Citadel Drive, Commerce, CA 90040.


The Training Analyst is responsible for guiding and evaluating the effectiveness of training programs through data analysis. This position conducts needs assessments, develops measurement instruments, and evaluates each training program with the goal of maximizing the department’s support of organizational and business initiatives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned or required:

  • Conducts needs assessments/instructional analysis to ensure conformity with training objectives and develops training plans as needed.
  • Performs objective evaluation of the effectiveness of training programs through performance-based measurement assessment and feedback analysis.
  • Prepares and manages training project timelines.
  • Prepares training status reports, exhibits, and communications procedures as required.
  • Consults with Talent Development Managers to confirm program/system objectives, operational procedures and system/program constraints.
  • Evaluates training criteria and maintains training curricula, including versioning, updating, reviewing, and obtaining appropriate approvals.
  • Remains current on developments in training and instructional methodologies, including technology enhancements, and attends periodic seminars, forums and meetings to ensure currency of education.
  • Authors and organizes training systems, procedural manuals, and supporting documentation for training programs and systems in accordance with organizational/departmental requirements.
  • Develops training content, including, but not limited to eLearning, online content, meeting presentations, handouts, and standard operating procedure manuals.
  • Acts as super administrator for the learning module of the company Talent Management System.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • At least three years related experience required.
  • Retail Management Certificate or Associates Degree Required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
  • Store Operations experience preferred.
  • Prior experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS) is also required.
  • Must have the ability to effectively manage multiple projects, prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Bilingual in Spanish


OTHER KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Familiar with the functions of a computer in a Windows related operating system is required as is proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent writing skills in the form of learning content and the communication of procedures and processes.
  • Experience with Apple products and platforms, a plus.
  • Must be familiar with the Internet to do research and to conduct web-based instruction and meetings.
  • Must also have experience with graphic design programs.
  • Experience with all presentation equipment and modalities a must.
