Austin Bridge & Road has an outstanding opportunity for a Trainer at our headquarters in Coppell, Texas. The Trainer will perform a variety of duties relating, but not limited to, developing relationships with employee-owners to determine needed training, developing and presenting online and in-person training through Austin University, and helping further company growth through employee-owner development. Must be bilingual in Spanish.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Designs, develops and implements both online and in-person trainings.
  • Updates and executes classes on currently available training content.
  • Prepares weekly and monthly reports on training program effectiveness for Training & Development Manager.
  • May assist in executing company leadership programs.
  • Responsible for coaching employee-owners in a manner consistent with the company’s core values and leadership philosophy.
  • Partners with the corporate Leadership & Culture Department to execute corporate training programs.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and training & development.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in organizational development, human resources, business, education, or equivalent required; or related experience in training and development or equivalent may substitute
  • Background in education, training, or organizational development preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in both developing and delivering training content
  • 1-3 years of experience either coaching or developing others
  • Experience with blended learning techniques (virtual, instructor-led, etc.)
  • Must be bilingual (English/Spanish)

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
