Summary
- Manage all aspects of traffic and transportation with both PA and NJ state agencies and local government.
- Lead traffic engineering tasks and projects from concept development to final design, supervise and train project engineers, and manage workload and project assignments.
- Prepare technical and cost proposals and participate in business development activities.
- Will be responsible for growing a successful Traffic and Transportation Department and setting the vision and plan for future opportunities.
- 10+ years working in Traffic Design
- Design experience must include familiarity with roadway, and traffic elements, with the ability to supervise and independently develop construction documents.
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong positive leadership and organizational skills.
- Must have the ability to interface with all levels of personnel and management and be highly proactive.
- Professional Engineer (PE) and PTOE is a must.
- Experience working with Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) and Pennsylvania municipalities.
- Technical design background and knowledge of PennDOT, NJDOT, AASHTO and MUTCD standards.
- Experience with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D is desirable
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
