igus, Inc. is a leading manufacturer of innovative polymer machinery components, such as cable carrier systems, bearings and linear guides. We are a global company with regional sales offices throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico.

We are currently looking for an energetic, highly motivated Trade Show Set Up Representative to join our North American team to provide support for corporate tradeshows and customer meetings to ensure successful execution. Position is responsible for installation, repairing, finishing and maintaining various structures and fixtures at Trade Shows.

Responsibilities:

• Follow instructions, processes and procedures to build and organize tradeshow booth experiences at the tradeshow site based on specifications.
• Tradeshow/onsite execution includes show set-up and take-down, cleaning, and shipping of all necessary equipment.
• When not traveling, this position is responsible for maintaining tradeshow equipment, preparing the mobile showcase for travel and maintaining the equipment to ensure it is all in good working condition.

Requirements:

• Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers, etc.)
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. (booth setup and dismantle may require some heavy lifting)
• Ability to read technical documents and drawings
• A successful applicant should be hardworking, reliable, and have good communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple and changing priorities while maintaining strong focus on execution and results
• Willing to travel overnight domestically to organize events as needed, may include travel on some holidays and/or weekends (travel will be about 25%)
• Must be able to work in a plant environment with exposure to elements such as odor, noise, dust, heat, cold and other elements
• Willing to adhere to all safety standards with a strong understanding and commitment to their own and the safety of others
