Position Summary:

The Total Rewards Manager, reporting to the SVP, Human Resources is responsible for planning, implementing, and administering a comprehensive total rewards strategy and programs. This position will research and bring in-depth understanding of external best-practices and innovative trends to apply them to Total Rewards programs. This includes health and welfare plans, life insurance, time off, wellness programs and other employee benefit plans offered. This individual will also be responsible for evaluating and making recommendations.

Essential Functions:

  • Plan, implement, and administer a comprehensive rewards strategy including health and welfare benefits, section 125 plan, compensation, and wellness programs.
  • Strategically assesses the effectiveness of current programs in achieving organizational objectives.
  • Effectively plan and direct the implementation and administration of all benefit plans including annual open enrollment efforts.
  • Manage and collaborate with vendors and external partners, including managing performance of contracts to ensure maximum values of services delivered and compliance.
  • Develop internal operating procedures and controls for the administering and managing benefits in a timely manner.
  • Administer Section 125 plan compliance including annual audit and compliant enrollment.
  • Conduct employee benefit survey annually.
  • Conduct monthly benefit invoice reconciliations
  • Act as project manager for total rewards for all acquisitions; includes integration of newly acquired businesses and employees into current benefits, continuity of care and coverage is established.
  • Develop and coordinate communications strategies and activities designed to educate and inform employees about total rewards including communication plans pertaining to open enrollment changes.
  • Serve as the main resource for employees and managers regarding all benefit related matters
  • Prepare annual budget for total rewards and manage expenditures related to benefit programs.
  • Partner with HR and leadership on appropriate total reward packages to recruit and retain talent.
  • Utilizing Radford, conduct analyses of jobs, base salaries, and incentives to evaluate internal equity, external competitiveness, and legal compliance of SOC pay practices, appropriate market rates for jobs; develop and administer salary band structure, including updating ranges as necessary.
  • Administer and support the development of non-sales incentive compensation programs, including documentation, eligibility, tracking within HRIS system, and working with Finance for budgeting.
  • Prepare compensation analyses and reporting for HR, Management and Executives.
  • Administer the annual salary review program, including merit increases, bonuses and promotions.
  • Evaluate new jobs, promotions, and re-classifications and recommend compensation elements for positions, including base and incentive pay and market range.
  • Research and monitor FLSA and EEOC compliance.
  • Manage data in accordance with the company’s record retention policies and procedures and state and federal laws and regulations.
  • Maintain confidentiality of work-related issues, records and company information.
  • Routinely interact with cross-functional teams (HR Payroll, Accounting, Audit) to provide relevant data and analysis for processing and compliance, including monthly and quarterly reconciliations.

Education/Experience

  • Five years’ experience managing total rewards programs (compensation, benefits, wellness, etc.)
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or other business discipline required
  • Experience working in collaboration with human resources, accounting, and operations departments to enhance employer sponsored total reward programs
  • Ability to work Hybrid (Work from Home and Downtown Dallas, TX office)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • HCM/HRIS interface and reporting experience
  • Proven working experience with HR Operations procedures
  • Excellent written, verbal communication, and analytical skills
  • Superior computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Programs, communication and collaboration tools, and various operating systems
  • Excellent organizational skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail
  • Advanced analytical skills with the ability to work through processes, identify and implement process improvements and resolve complex matters
  • Demonstrable experience using metrics to drive results
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory and legislative imperatives and impacts to a total rewards program (FLSA, 409A, Section 125, ERISA, HIPAA, etc.)
  • Self-starter with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced ever-changing environment
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality

Pay: $90,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
