Job description

Organize and manage the tools and supplies within the Fabrication Shop Tool Room.

Duties include but not limited to:

· Clean and aesthetically maintain the fabrication shop tool room space.

· Track issuance and return of safety equipment, welding electrodes, and tooling.

· Maintain inventory, storage and quality of safety equipment, welding electrodes, and tooling.

· Log rod use (per job) in the "BFM Checkout Data Base" and audit data integrity.

· Receive restocking orders, verify accuracy of orders against purchase orders and contact supplier regarding order delinquency and shipping errors.

· Promptly notify supervisor of needs regarding maintenance and supply of safety equipment, welding electrodes, and tooling.

• Maintain integrity of tool room and distribution system by allowing only authorized personnel to enter the tool room space.
• Constantly use safe work habits and follow safety rules.

· Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Skills/Qualifications/Licensing:

· Ability to communicate effectively with supervisor and co-workers.

· Outstanding organizational skills.

• Ability to use a computer effectively.

Education

· High School Diploma or GED.

Experience

• Previous worked at a shop/industrial environment preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
