This is a Full-Time position scheduled Monday -Friday 8-hour shifts. The pay is $12.50-13.50 per hour depending on experience and qualifications. This role is onsite at our center located: 1101 Woodlake Drive NE, Palm Bay FL 32905

The Toddler Teacher develops a cohesive teaching team, coordinates the curriculum, and manages the day-to-day operational activities of the classroom. The Teacher in this role should be high energy and able to work well with staff, students, and parents. You’ll have the opportunity to be a leader in the classroom, champion a team environment, and provide fun-filled learning opportunities while making a positive impact on the lives of children ages 2 years old

What You’ll Do:
  • Manage adherence to quality standards in accordance with both center’s vision and state and local / state requirements
  • Lead by example and encourage teaching team success through modeling and coaching
  • Plan individual and group age-appropriate exercises to actively engage children and encourage social, cognitive, and emotional growth
  • Maintain personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement
  • Work with staff, children, and parents to foster a team environment
  • Encourage children to develop a community-spirited classroom through sharing, caring and self-regulation
  • Coordinate and implement educational curriculum by creating classroom activities based on developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards
  • Promote self-help and good hygiene through behavior modeling

What We Need from You:
  • High School Diploma and/or Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
  • Must clear full level II DCF background check and pass health screening
  • Completed 45 hours required
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills, and basic computer skills
  • Effective in communicating with both students and adults to meet the needs of the children, effectively guide teacher assistants, and resolve parental concerns
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish preferred
